A winter classic for families and hikers looking for open panoramic terrain with no major technical difficulty.

Access via the Les Rousses cable car (extra fee) avoids a long initial ascent and allows you to fully enjoy the vast snowy plateau suspended above alpine forests and bright ridgelines.

This full-day hike offers an excellent effort-to-reward ratio and is suitable for a wide audience. The area is well known for its winter sunshine, quality snow cover and accessible "high-mountain" atmosphere.

In winter the valley becomes a long calm and wild white corridor dominated by steep slopes and sharp peaks.

The route to the Chaumette hut is a classic for hikers wanting a moderate but immersive outing, with a steady ascent and no technical sections. The hut is usually closed in winter, but the winter shelter area is accessible and makes a symbolic destination.

A beautiful hike in the preserved atmosphere of the Champsaur.

The snowshoe ascent from Serre-Eyraud to Tente Yvonne Hut is an accessible hike for good walkers, alternates forest sections, open alpine pastures and snowy combes.

The route is progressive without technical difficulty. The small authentic hut offers a perfect picnic stop beneath the ridges.
